He believes that fighting for what is just and protecting what belongs to the Armenian people is not only his responsibility but his duty. ANCA-WR Activists Make Waves During Advocacy Day in Sacramento


Nearly 200 activists, from every corner of California, joined the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region on Thursday, April 19 for the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide in the California State Legislature. A busload of activists making the trip from Southern California was escorted through Los Angeles by an official send-off by the “Hye Riders” Motorcycle Club.

The Loyola Law School Armenian Students Association, in conjunction with the Center for the Study of Law and Genocide ,will host a discussion on the legal implications of the recent 9th Circuit Court ruling which effectively bars Americans of Armenian descent from seeking the return of stolen Armenian Genocide era insurance assets through U.S. courts.
